Fungal infections are a very difficult diagnostic challenge, and for the patients who are at risk, timing is critical. By the time a physician is able to make a definitive diagnosis, it may be too late. With this series, we worked with physician advisors who contributed case histories based on their actual experience to portray several types of patients at risk for developing candidiasis.
