Accountable care is a concept that over the past few years has had a dramatic impact on the delivery of healthcare. While there are a virtually unlimited number of variants, their common goal is to improve care and make it more affordable by aligning the incentives of the many stakeholders involved. This presentation gave account managers a resource introducing the concept to their customers and discussing its promise for improving the value of care delivered.
