With this template, we wanted to give reps a tool they could use to educate physicians and staff about formulary access for TOBI Pohaler, which has relatively unrestricted status in many commercial and state Medicaid plans, but is more restricted in managed Medicaid plans. We worked closely with local key account managers to select key plans in their area, based on the approved business rules for the piece. On the back of the flashcard, we provided detailed PA and step-edit information for key plans with restrictions.
